Experience a half or full day of adventure with our ski touring outings!

From simple hikes among chamois and ibex to high mountain ski trails,
Your instructor-guide will accompany you on the best itineraries in the Vanoise massif, as well as many other emblematic peaks in the Alps such as Mont-Blanc, the Écrins, the Oisans, the Grand Paradis, and more.

Reach new summits and enjoy a wild descent in complete safety, under the expert guidance of a mountain and snow sports expert who knows our area inside out.

The price of private lessons for ski touring includes supervision by an instructor or guide as well as safety equipment (DVA, probe, shovel) if you do not have any. Insurance is strongly recommended and not included in the supervision service.
Additional costs for the instructor or guide (travel, accommodation or shelter, meals) are the responsibility of the client.
In the event of cancellation, the actual amount incurred by the instructor or guide for these additional costs will remain the responsibility of the client.

Frequently asked questions

Is equipment included in the price?
No, the price of lessons does not include equipment, please bring your own skis and boots. The safety equipment on the other hand is provided (Rucksac, Avalanche Transceiver, shovel, probe, etc.) 
Are the ski pass and insurance included in the price?
No, the ski pass and insurance are not included in the price of the lessons. Please make sure to book them in advance.For more information, check the "How to choose a ski pass" and "Insurance" pages.
What methods of payment are accepted by the esf Champagny en Vanoise?
Our online booking accepts all credit cards except Diner's Club. For payment by money order, bank transfer, cheque or holiday vouchers, please contact us.
How come I can't access the payment page after booking my lessons?
Your browser's security level might be too high. Use the "Preferences" menu to lower it. It is also possible that your network uses a firewall, which should be deactivated for the duration of the booking.
Your website tells me that the lessons are fully booked. What can I do?
It is likely that our software is blocking sales and that you will not be able to buy your lessons online. To be on the safe side, please contact the esf (contact form or telephone) and we will give you a definitive answer.
The student's age does not correspond to the chosen lesson
We calculate the number of months between the date of birth and the date of the course to check that the lessons correspond to your child's age. The age taken into account is that of the child on the 1st day of the lessons and not on the day of your order: this is why this message may seem inconsistent, but there is no error. Do not hesitate to choose other lessons for your child that corresponds to their age at the start of the ski holidays.
